Coming to the end of this challenging garden in Inverkip. We needed structural engineers, planning permission and building warrants but finally after two years the garden has been transformed. There are still a few bits to finish off but it’s nearly there. The clients are now starting to plant it up which will soften a lot of the hard structures. The view over the Clyde Estuary is beautiful on a sunny day and whilst the sun wasn’t out much this morning it was still easy to see how it will be a real sun trap on the top deck. Hopefully it’s turned a difficult site into a garden in which to relax and enjoy this wonder weather. See the last picture which shows what it was like before.

Life Begins the Day you start a Garden

Chinese Proverb

So, maybe you are visiting my website as you’re thinking about doing something with your garden? Let’s say it needs a bit of a facelift and you’d like to use it a bit more.

For instance, you’d like somewhere to sit both for mid- morning coffee or have an additional area for entertaining in the evening, the kids need somewhere to play, you've always thought a few herbs would be nice (oh yes and some vegetables too, if there’s room) and of course there’s got be an area for the practical stuff- the washing line or whirly and the bins.

These are just a few features you may want incorporated into your plan and there are so many other things to consider you just don’t know where to start.

On the other hand you may want to keep things minimalist and have a garden which doesn't require too much effort on your part and just has to look good.

Well, it’s all down to planning and that’s where I can help you. If you’d like to discuss your garden design with me please give me a call, or contact me, and we can chat about what you’d like to do and how to go about it.
